Mission & Vision

Brandeis Hebrew Academy is a Modern Orthodox Jewish Day School dedicated to providing our students with an exceptional dual curriculum in General and Judaic studies that equals or surpasses the standards of the finest schools in our neighboring districts. Our mission is to develop b'nei and b'not Torah who are deeply committed to Torah learning, the observance of mitzvot, and living according to Torah values and halacha.

The Hebrew language is at the heart of this journey. We prioritize rigorous Torah study, including Chumash, Mishnah, Navi, Gemara and Jewish law, integrated with academic excellence in general studies to develop thoughtful, motivated learners who approach the world with depth, purpose, and intellectual curiosity.

We nurture an environment in which Torah shapes daily life. Principles such as Derech Eretz, Tzedakah, K'lal Israel, Kedushah, Mitzvot, and Tefilah are woven into the fabric of our school community and lived experiences, guiding students to embody these ideals with integrity and joy.

Our vision is to strengthen each student's Jewish identity, deepen their love for Hashem, Torah, Judaism, and Medinat Yisrael, and prepare them to be knowledgeable, confident, and observant Jews who are active, thoughtful, and engaged citizens in both twenty-first century America and K'lal Israel.

Rooted in more than 90 years of tradition, our mission reflects the vision of our founder, Rabbi Irving Miller, who recognized the importance of a curriculum that unites Torah values with American ideals as the foundation for a successful and meaningful life. Today, the continued strength of Brandeis Hebrew Academy lies in our unwavering commitment to excellence in both General and Judaic studies, ensuring that the light of Torah, Judaism, and knowledge shines brightly for every child, from generation to generation.
