Brandeis students recently took part in a meaningful Model Seder alongside Holocaust survivors, creating a powerful multigenerational experience. Together, they reviewed the themes of the Seder while sharing stories, symbols, and the message of freedom.
Hearing firsthand experiences gave deeper meaning to “והגדת לבנך,” teaching students the importance of passing our story from one generation to the next. The program highlighted the strength of Jewish faith and identity, even in the darkest times, and left students with lasting lessons of emunah, gratitude, and responsibility.
Coordinated in partnership with the JCC, the Model Seder was a moving example of Brandeis Hebrew Academy connecting Torah values with real life experience.
